Adventure Links runs outdoor adventure camps at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park, a 425-acre site along the Bull Run River in Clifton. Day camps for rising 3rd-8th graders run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, at $535 per week, with van pickup from locations across Northern Virginia; one-week residential camps (rising 6th-9th) and traveling expeditions (rising 6th-10th) are also offered. Campers kayak, canoe, cave, rock climb, river tube, run a high ropes course and zipline, and learn outdoor living skills, taught at an introductory level for children new to them. The camp is ACA-accredited and staffs one instructor per seven campers on day camps and one per six on residential programs, with at least one Wilderness First Responder on overnight programs.
