The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama operate an Athens club serving school-aged youth (grades K-12, ages 5-18) with afterschool programs during the year and summer camps in the summer. Programming emphasizes character, education, and recreation, with a Teen Advancement Center located next door.

Powered by GoogleMy son came home crying 3 times. Tried to call and ask what was going on. Tried to be very understanding while talking to the lady but she was very rude to me. Even as I was agreeing with something she said she was aggressive towards me. Decided to pull my son out. If that's how they talk to the adults I don't want to know how they talked to the kids.
This facility is fantastic. The staffing is very acknowledged. A home from home for kids! The director is impressive!
Am keeping my great grandchildren because of the abuse they encounter at the Boys and Girls club. Teachers talked to them like they are idiots. Talked about breaking a part of their body or sending them to the hospital. Threatening to break expensive electronic and destroyed a popit that my great grandchild brought to camp with him. I do not recommend this place at all.
So I had sent my kids here for the summer and that would try and try to get out of going and every time thay go thay would call me and say that the teachers are doing something bad that wouldn't tell me what but I would not recommend going here the thay say the teachers are very mean
Facility was adequate. Parking limited. One official should never be allowed to officiate another game due to his unfair inequitable calls many of which he was out of position to make.
