Powered by GoogleI cannot say enough good things about AIM Academy. My son has gone there for nearly a year, and while it was a rough start (clingy toddler) he is now thriving! The teachers and admin staff are great. Every teacher knows him by name, greets him and I every time we arrive or leave. The updates do get fewer the longer he is there, but not to the point that I don’t know what’s going on with his day. There have been changes in staff/administration, and they have all done their best to make as smooth as they are able. Any issues or incidents have been reported either in the app, or with a phone call, or both. They don’t just arrive and play all day, they have a set schedule that they stick to, which my toddler thrives on. The only complaint is the need for a dr note for literally everything, from diaper cream to “please don’t feed my kid xyz”. But that comes from DHR rules, not the staff. Thank you Ms. Destiny, Mrs. Spring, Ms. Dria, Mrs. Catava, Ms. Amber, Ms. Rachel, and so many other wonderful teachers and staff for making my son’s first daycare experience a wonderful one, and for giving me peace of mind throughout his attendance. You all are special people and we love you greatly!
Our little boy is in the infant classroom I . He started going to aim when he was 4 months old! I have absolutely loved how much the staff is willing to help us with everything! They take the time to help him develop and that he is on track for his milestones! We get daily pictures and updates on him every day! We love aim academy and his teachers!
Had to pull our daughter out cause of various things. Mrs Connie is trying her best, but it's obvious the assistant director ( Spring Plant. Yes, that is her name) and teachers are only there for a paycheck. The first bad sign was a homeless camp next door that was sitting next to the facility for months. Us and other parents brought our concerns to have it removed and the staff kept giving excuses. It took 2 dads to come out and remove the place. Told the staff about a lice infestation and they gave me a " are you sure it's from our place?". I agree with the other reviews about the changing diaper situation. We paid over $1000 and they let our daughter sit in a poopy diaper for who knows how long. She's currently being potty trained and they put her diaper over her underwear on her last day. She ended getting a really bad rash. The teachers are supposed to send pictures of the kids throughout the day, but that rarely happens now. When we do get pictures it's of other kids. We are constantly bringing spare clothes cause her clothes are missing, and no one knows what happens to them. We even have them labeled and still can't find them. The only positive side to this place is that they provide the meals and send out weekly meal plans, but save your money and go somewhere else.
I highly recommend AIM Academy in Meridianville! The staff is incredibly accommodating and goes above and beyond to make both students and parents feel welcome. My children are absolutely loving their time here—one is in the Pre-K class, and the other is in the Transition 1 class. The teachers are wonderful and create a nurturing environment that helps the kids thrive. What truly sets AIM Academy apart is how involved the director and assistant director are in the classrooms. They take the time to connect with each child, providing support and ensuring everything runs smoothly. We’re so grateful to have found such a supportive and hands-on school for their early education!
Our children have attended here since August 2024. Infant 1 room has been nothing but amazing to our son, and have remained the same teachers. We receive updates throughout each day. The teachers are unlike any other and love our sweet baby. We couldn’t ask for better. Our daughter attends after school care and expresses her love for the school and new teachers. The new director and new employees throughout the school have been wonderful and were needed. The negative reviews posted are regarding previous employees which include a previous director. We have been enrolled in the other larger daycare/after school programs in the area with our two oldest girls, and hands down AIM Academy is the best. Again, thank you infant 1 room for all your hard work and dedication.
