My kids attended boys and girls clubs though the school district for and summer camps/ teen clubs and they love it. Give them a safe supervised places to be and connect with other kids.

Horrible program! From school site staff all the way to the directors should be ashamed! Awful, there are better programs for your children.

I am saddened to share this low star review, but Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County creates a particularly poor experience for its customers (mainly the students, but also the parents). The previous poor reviews are correct. Neither your child (nor you as a parent) will have a positive experience with the organization. I am sorry to say this nonprofit lacks the capability of delivering quality outcomes to students.

The summer camp has been a disappointment. The staff is SUPER rude and weird. They seam bothered and confused if you ask them basic questions,. The supervisor/manager (I don't know what her title is) is very rude and curt as well. I have tried to establish rapport with the staff and it's a no-go. I don't know what is up with the staff at this place but I dread dropping off and picking up my son. I was really hoping this would be a good place for my little boy.

What a HORRIBLE place, I regret ever letting my kids attend the Boys & Girls club. The school district sent an email to parents notifying everyone that they have partnered with them to accommodate Distance Learning. I have a 5 and 6 year old and there was not one day that there homework was complete. When I emailed the site coordinator to ask why she told me they could not work with every child individually and if we did not like that then we can seek childcare elsewhere. After that my son started getting "written up" and we were informed that after 3 write ups the child will be kicked out of the program. My wife contacted the Director because my son has ADHD and is hyper by nature and not once did they tell us that this would be an issue. The Director assured us that she was going to make sure our children complete their homework, that was UNACCEPTABLE and she asked if we could bring in some fidget toys for him and we did. Now the following morning the Site Coordinator asked me if I brought my son his fidget toys per the Director's direction and I told her yes and gave her a bag full of fidget toys. Then later that day we get a call saying my 6 year old son is not listening and keeps taking off his mask so they are going to have to have him removed from the program. My wife asked her what about trying to work with him, he has ADHD and you yourself mentioned you understand the hardship this brings. She told us "my staff is not equipped to work with children with ADHD" I did not think a child could get pushed out because of a medical condition! WOW! I am in utter disbelief and hope that nobody else has to go through that. I would give negative stars if that was an option!
