Every year, she comes home with new friendships, exciting stories, and memories she’ll talk about long after camp ends. The staff create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment where kids can have fun while building confidence and learning positive values. It’s clear that they genuinely care about each child and put a lot of thought and energy into making every day engaging and meaningful. From the activities to the sense of community, Refuge Kids Day Camp has given my niece a place where she feels included, supported, and excited to return year after year. Seeing her enthusiasm every summer says more than words ever could. I’m grateful for the positive impact this camp has had on her life and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun, caring, and memorable experience for their children.
We love Refuge. My granddaughter has been going there for a long time. She enjoys the activities and getting involved with everyone. The staff is very friendly. She has a wonderful time. The prices are very reasonable. The hours are awesome. Kids have a lot of fun.
This is our second year back at refuge summer camp. I am a stay at home mom and don’t need childcare during the summer but I know I can’t offer all the amazing activities refuge summer camp offers for my kids. The program is extremely organized. Each week has a different theme and each day has its own activities (movie day, water day, fun friday, etc) There are also vendor days like pottery or museum visitation days. Official camp hours are 10am-3pm, but additional childcare hours are available 6am to late afternoon at no cost to parents as needed. I don’t worry about my kids safety when they’re at camp. The camp is securely gated all around, gated with a PIN code only authorized parent / guardian can use, and each child must be checked in and out with a QR code. All communication is done through an app which makes it easy to communicate with staff quickly and efficiently as needed. My kids come home happy and hungry, which I love. And they sleep so well at night! I can’t wait until my youngest can join next summer.
My son loved the camp this fall and he is so excited to attend this winter as well! He has been asking how many days until the next camp almost daily! They have so many fun activities for the kids and everyone is so kind! Thank u for making his week fun!
I absolutely love Refuge Kids Day Camp! My son had so much fun he did not want to go back to real school! I was a little worried at first because my son can be a handful, but he was thriving there. He was well taken care of and had the time of his life! We only did fall camp and I can’t wait for him to join winter and summer camp so he can join all the field trips and water days they have planned! During fall camp he got to participate in making pizzas, playing in the game room, fun crafts and lots of outside play. The also did a fun blacklight bingo party, snow cones and movie day! He had a great time making new friends outside of school and getting to experience new things. He has been asking to go back every day since fall camp ended. This is such a great and affordable alternative for child care in the summer if you’re unable to take time off of work while the kids are home! I can’t wait for my youngest to be old enough to join too!
