Powered by GoogleThis is one of the places my son enjoys the most! He’s played basketball at various places, but this is one of the better ones. The program is well-organized, and he always has fun practicing and playing games every day.
I coach basketball at a small private k-8 school in San Francisco. In the past ten years, I have had a number of my players play in the Bay City Program. I had always heard great feedback on the program. Parents shared that BCB is well organized and great at player development. For the past two years, I have had my son play in both the Spring and Fall seasons and attend most of the BCB summer camps. The Bay City Basketball program is among the best youth to HS sports programs in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I have seen my son's skills grow over the past two full years of play. I highly recommend this program to see if it is a good fit for your family.
This is our third season participating in the Bay City program, they are a top flight professional organization which I highly recommend. I can honestly say the staff gets better at operating & improving the program every year. This past summer season they updated their player performance evaluations with a new Locker format which is the most complete & useful assessment I have seen in AAU basketball. Bay City has helped my son’s skill development, his mental approach & his emotional maturity in regards to dealing with the adversity that occurs when competing… But most importantly the emphasis at B.C. is to remember to always keep good sportsmanship as the key aspect when participating in competitive sports.
Me and my family from Iceland went for a holliday to San Fransisco. My son is a basketball player and a fan of American basketball. We thought it would be great opertunity for him to try to play with boys his age other than he plays with every day. So I contacted Matt Durel at Bay City Basketball asked him if my son could participate in a practice. Long story short. Matt took us very well and found a suitable practice for us. The boys took my boy in immediately, he fittet right in and he had a great time. What I saw at Bay City Basketball was a intense and high professional basketball practice with a great coaching and discipline. Thanks a lot Matt and coach Richard.
