Austin Sunshine Camps is a nonprofit that has provided free overnight summer camp to lower-income Central Texas youth since 1928. Traditional residential sessions of 7–10 days serve about 1,200 children ages 8–15 who qualify for free/reduced lunch or are in foster care, at two sites in Zilker Park and on Lake Travis. Activities include hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, ropes courses, archery and arts, alongside conflict-resolution and self-regulation skills.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff is amazing, kind, and really seem to enjoy working with the kids. My kids always have a great time here and they never want to leave. They took precautions during COVID and even after it seemed to die down a bit. This is a wonderful organization and I'm grateful for what they offer to the community of Austin.
My kiddos love this Camp. The staff is so much fun. We love Ms. Sarah and Ms. Jessica and Alex. They have so many great opportunities for these kids and what they do is amazing.
