The Atlantic Highlands Sailing Education Program (AHSEP) runs a summer sailing camp for New Jersey youth aged 8-17, teaching sailing basics, water safety and teamwork and building an appreciation of sailing as both a sport and a lifelong pastime. It is streamed into three levels: a novice introduction for ages 8-15, an intermediate skills course for 8- to 17-year-olds, and an advanced course over the same range. From summer 2026 the program is adding adult learn-to-sail and keelboat pathways, and the affiliated Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club runs a summer-long keelboat youth program for ages 12-18 combining instruction with leadership development and competitive racing.
