When my kids' summer camps were canceled due to COVID-19, I'm not going to lie; I maybe panicked a little bit. Thoughts of how the heck I was going to keep my kids busy this summer while my husband and I worked consumed me. Luckily, I found Artworks Studio's at-home art camps. My kids are true budding artists and love all things artistic, so this was PERFECT for them. So how does it work? Each registered artist will receive an Art Kit filled with all the supplies needed to complete the art lessons for the week. Lessons may include collage, painting, drawing, sculpture, and more! Daily recorded videos are emailed to the parent by the instructor for your kids to watch and create at a time good for you! Each week includes supplies for one project per day, Monday through Friday. My mama intuition was right. My kids LOVE this camp! It's geared toward ages 6-10, but my almost-5-year-old participated with my 7-year-old and did great! We had an entire week of sea-themed art projects that included model magic sculpting, painting, coloring, zentangle, and more. The videos provided by the instructor are clear and very easy to follow. We also appreciated that we could pause the instruction if we needed extra time to complete a portion of the project.

Did a party for my 7yr. Old and it was great. Julie had everything from party themed artwork to cups and utensils. The kids got to do 2 pieces (painting & coil pot) but could also draw and color in between so they were never bored. Julie was super nice, responded right away to my emails and also grabbed the attention of the kids (some as young as 3). I will recommend her to anyone looking for a party idea in the area.
