Powered by GoogleWe enrolled our son at Artsy Partsy's Art Camp, and he did immensely enjoy the art projects and fostering creativity that the studio aims for. However, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and distressing due to repeated instances of bullying and inappropriate behavior from older children. Our son, a 7-year-old, was subjected to being questioned about the hair on his arms, which made him feel conscious. Older kids used profane language. On the last day, the situation escalated with older girls calling him inappropriate names and making fun of him, and an older boy physically hit him with a wipe cloth and pushed him, causing him to fall. While we appreciate the prompt response from the owners to our initial email, and their acknowledgment that they reinforce respect and kindness, the ongoing bullying incidents demonstrated a significant breakdown in ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Our distress deepened when the owners failed to respond to our second detailed email, simply because our son did not have any more sessions left with them. We were particularly concerned that young children were allowed to sit next to older kids, which seemed to facilitate the bullying behavior. We did not feel the studio staff maintained sufficient supervision to prevent this level of unkind and inappropriate language and physical contact from occurring, leading to our son not feeling safe. Ultimately, despite the enjoyable art activities, we are extremely disappointed that our son was subjected to bullying at an art camp. We cannot recommend Artsy Partsy for an art camp based on this profoundly negative experience with the management and mixing of age groups.
Absolutely love Artsy Partsy!!! My daughter has attended weekly classes for about three years. Each session she paints using a variety of types (acrylic, oil pastel, water) does clay and comes home with the cutest projects. Ms. Jeannette is the best and so are all the teachers at Artsy Partsy. Each teacher gives direction and also allows the kids to create their own art work, developing their own confidence and artistic style. We have also attended special events such as family paint night, News Years at Noon, Special holiday events, as well as Art Camps in the summer. All have been super fun and we have come home with a variety of art projects from the events. Artsy Partsy is the place to go to be creative and part of a community that loves art, loves kids, loves family. Its affordable, fun and you will grow as an artist!! Thank you Artsy Partsy!!!
Had a good experience here for a toddlers birthday party. The staff was engaging and instructed the children to paint a picture. It was a classroom-like setting and was quick enough to keep all of the kids attention but not too fast. After the painting was done, the kids got to play and celebrate the birthday party while the paintings dried.
We had a birthday party here (age range from 5-10) and it was AMAZING!!! The entire staff did well but Ms. Jeannette really catered to the crowd so well. I was nervous the little ones would get bored and start to complain but she kept them so entertained it really was awesome. There was more than enough space for the parents as well. We received so many wonderful comments about the party and location. I can't say enough great things about this place. They involved the birthday child so much to make them feel extra specials.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My 6 year old daughter and I absolutely love this place! The camps are great and she is sent home with lots of stuff. Special events are fantastic and we look forward to them, they book up fast. Friday free paints are fun for us to do together. I look forward to the next event!
