I came to artipre when I was around 15 to get help in developing my skills for college applications. Now at 18, with Artipre’s help, I was able to get into the Brown RISD dual degree program. 15 is a bit late when considering I had never touched a brush and only dabbled in digital art, but I was still helped above and beyond by the wonderful principal Ms. Jane and teacher Mrs. Lee. I consider myself very lucky for living so near, as I went twice a week for three hour sessions. As long as you are willing to put in the effort to listen and learn, Artipre will teach you the skills you need to succeed in the arts. If you are in elementary/middle/high school or have a child who wants to learn art or develop their portfolio, this is the place. Seriously, if it were not for this academy and their staff, I would have not reached what were my once beyond impossible goals! My only regret is I didn’t come sooner!

I have attended Artipre for 2 years now, and I have learned so much! With Ms. Jane and Ms. Sophie as amazing mentors, they have taught me beyond impressive technical art skills. They have introduced, and taught me the conceptual aspects of art making and analyzing, a skill that has made me grow much fonder with art. They have also broadened my knowledge of what art means, and the lengths it is capable of expressing. Beyond traditional painting and drawing, I have gained an interest for 3D sculpture, multimedia work, and video editing, catagories I did not know I was capable of working with. Thanks to Mr. Sophie and Ms. Jane I was accepted into my dream school last winter! Their guidance and cooperation has not only helped me build a strong portfolio, but understand the process of conveying and turning my thoughts and emotions into art. I highly recommend Artipre to anyone interested in developing their skill, confidence, and relationship with art!

I attended Artipre from 10th grade to 12th grade, and I absolutely loved it. The instructors here introduced me to painting and encouraged me to pursue multimedia work. Mrs. Jane and Mrs. Lee are incredible mentors, and they really know how to teach you skills that allow you to create great projects--not just skills for the sake of having them. I highly recommend anyone who may have ideas, but not the skillset for them, to take classes at Artipre.

Recently, my daughter was accepted into her dream school and in the fall, she will attend Columbia University as the graduating class of 2027! I am extremely very thankful for Ms. Jane's teachings as she was one of the teachers that my daughter was very close to. I appreciate Ms Jane’s help for these past years- especially during the college application season. With her guidance, my daughter was able to significantly grow as an artist and create an art portfolio that clearly showcases her talents in visual arts.

I’m a current art school student who learned in this art studio for about two years from the winter of my Junior year. Since it was my first time to learn art outside of school, I felt a bit nervous to start with a weaker foundation skill compare to other student. Despite of my concern, experience in Artipre really helped me not only to develop general art skills, but also to come up with creative ideas. So basically system in Artipre is based on independent project and one on one tutoring from the teachers, but it is also an open environment where students can easily share their own ideas to other peers and teachers. I personally had an amazing time while making art here, so I think it would be a great choice to learn art in Artipre if you have a passion in art!
