Arroyo Pool is one of the City of Davis's public summer swimming pools, offering recreational swim and multi-level swim lessons with city instructors. For summer 2026 it partners with the city's Playground Camp to add morning camp swim lessons. It was recently renovated with a replastered recreation pool, new lighting, and a family water feature. It is a public pool rather than a standalone summer day camp.

★★★★Tegwyn LeaGreat place to hang out with family or friends, especially in the middle of the summer when it is 110 degrees! It also has various teams that practice there when it is not open to the public, including my team, and it is great for that. It has a pool with a vary shallow par that is great for little kids learning to swim, a fun mushroom that pours down water and a fun water slide! It also has a nice lap pool with a diving board. Plenty of space to sit, and there is a snack bar, just make sure to watch out for bees!
★★★★★Stewart SavageWhat a great Davis CA facility. At Arroyo, there are two pools. The first pool is a play pool featuring a wide zero-entry area and goes to about three feet deep. This pool has a water feature in the shape of a giant mushroom where small children can play. Also part of this pool is a water slide...recently refurbished. The second pool is an 8 lane 25-yard competition pool with a dive area (low board). Great for fitness. Facility buildings include an office, bathrooms with showers, snack shack, and maintenance. Plenty of grassy areas to hang out making it perfect for a sunny summer afternoon.
★Mahogany StructureThis place does not make any attempt to make any adjustments for people with disabilities. A client and her assistant were forced to leave, because she could not afford to pay for the assistant along with herself. The assistant was not gone to swim, but the client is required to have constant support by the assistant. Fortunately she found a pool near by that gives her the opportunity to swim like everyone else without having to pay for two. I donot recommend this pool if you have a disability.

Andrea GarmanVery loud speakers starting early on weekends during swimming competitions and Polo games that disrupt all the neighboring homes for at least a mile radius from the pool even though the homeowners are the ones who paid the taxes for the swimming pool. Numerous requests for the loudspeakers to not be so loud has not been honored. Price is fine if you can manage to find a time not already reserved and then find a spot amongst the crowd.
