I have been a member at this gym club for many years now. With this club having two floors, you are met with treadmills ellipticals bikes and also workout machines on the first floor, with lap pool also Aquatic Fitness pool, kid pool, hot tub jacuzzi, in the locker room there is a dry sauna which I recommend highly. Upstairs they have more workout equipment a Turf which is very spacious they also offer personal training also Fitness classes such as cycling, beginners yoga, dance, also a type of boot camp Fitness session.

My 17-year-old son loves this gym, my mother does too, and I'm thrilled. The staff is friendly, the trainers are great, and the place is spacious, beautiful, and has everything you need. It's my favorite place to relax ❤️ I'm Dominican, and they treat everyone with respect. I wouldn't change gyms this for anything right now. 💪🏾

I've been a member at this gym for multiple years but recently processed a cancellation for two main reasons. One the basketball court is small and often dirty/slick, and only 1 side is currently open - and in the multiple years I've been there, the full court has never been opened. When I ask why, the response is "they believe the full court will result in rowdiness and violence" - what a great opinion of their customers. Which takes me to my next point - customer service. From my personal experience, their customer service is extremely poor, with the staff lacking empathy for their customers. You would expect a consumer facing organization would help address customer concerns or issues especially when they've been a loyal member, however that is not the case. From my experience, they are focused on only what is good for them with very little consideration for the needs of their consumers. Because of this I've cancelled my membership and I would not recommend this gym to others.

The gym is really expensive and the hours stink! I only go here because my brother needs the kid-zone for his son; so we can both work out together. This gym should be open a lot later on Friday and Saturday. They charge enough to pay the staff for this. Is it greed? What is it AmFam? Whats your reasoning behind these hours? Additionally there’s a black lady that works the front counter that hasnt been able to help me anytime Ive asked her a question. She couldnt answer how much tanning beds were nor could she properly ring up an energy drink for me. Somebody else had to step in both times and she’s consistently working the front counter. I honestly think she thinks her job is to make friends and chat to ppl and nothing else. Take note that almost every review left within a couple months mentions how terrible their hours are. In addition, AmFam will respond with “MOST MEMBERS COME DURING SUCH AND SUCH HOURS…”

They’re always welcoming, helpful, and ready to assist with any questions or needs. Their positive energy sets the tone for every visit. The swimming pool is another highlight—clean, spacious, and perfect for a post-workout swim or a relaxing day in the water. Whether you're a swimmer or just looking to cool off, it’s a great feature to have. Overall, American Family Fitness Center is a well-rounded gym that makes every workout experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!
