Allana's Academy of Dance in Englewood runs a long series of short themed summer camps and technique intensives from June through August, most lasting two or three days. Themed camps for younger dancers cover musical theatre, K-pop, hip hop, jazz and ballet-inspired movement with crafts and games, while intensives for older dancers focus on contemporary, tap, ballet, leaps and turns, improv, and acro skills such as aerials and walkovers. Sessions are open-enrollment and booked individually rather than as a single summer block. Published age guidance runs from 3-7 for the youngest themed camps up to ages 8 and over or 10 and over for the intensives.
