The Albuquerque Institute of Music runs week-long summer music camps for kids ages 5–7 and 8–11, with no musical background required. Offerings include a Musical Theatre camp where children sing, act, and perform a short show for family at the end of the week, and an instrument-building camp where kids make and play their own instruments. The studio also offers private lessons year-round.

Powered by GoogleCheyenne is the best violin instructor. I have learned so much since taking lessons a year ago with her. The staff are so nice, professional, and very personable. They are great at catering to the older learners, which I appreciate. I started violin at the age of 57 and I am now 60 and doing excellent! Thank you!
We’ve had an incredible experience at Albuquerque Institute of Music! My son studies piano with Lewis twice a week, and the progress has been amazing. Lewis is patient, motivating, and incredibly knowledgeable. My son has truly flourished in his playing and is already becoming so advanced. Most importantly, Lewis has helped spark a genuine joy for music in him that we never knew existed. We’re so grateful to Albuquerque Institute of Music for such wonderful instruction and encouragement! 5 ⭐️

My granddaughter has been taking cello lessons for a year here. Her experience has been wonderful. Everyone who works here has a positive attitude. I would highly recommend you try them out.
My 5 YO loves AIM's Shining Stars music program. Karin is such a sweet teacher to the littles. They have a theatrical music summer camp that looks awesome. We look forward to trying piano lessons soon. I highly recommend AIM for your kids with musical interests.
