Music on the Westside is a music-lessons studio in Rio Rancho offering private and group instruction in piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, and drums for all ages. Its regular youth offering is an 'Intro to Instruments' group class (ages 7–14) meeting once a week for four weeks, and it occasionally runs week-long summer camps and shorter workshops, though camp dates and details are not posted online.

Powered by GoogleMy kiddo has been getting lessons here for the last year and has made leaps and bounds. Joe Sevig is the instructor we've been assigned to and he is incredibly talented and also a great teacher for our 6th grader. Patient but also knows how to challenge our child. Highly recommend Joe and Music on the west side for lessons
Both of my children have taken lessons here. My daughter does voice lessons with Emma and its helped tremendously. She hopes to use her skills to audition for her high-school musical next year.
My daughter takes private violin lessons from Sherilyn D Urben at Music on the Westside. She has been taking lessons for about 9 months and I am impressed by how much progress she has made. Sherilyn is a great teacher, caring and patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn violin! Music on the Westside is a fun environment to learn a variety of instruments and styles of music. I love how they encourage kids to push out of their comfort zones by performing in collaborative pieces at concerts and recitals. Highly recommend!
The environment for Music on the Westside is welcoming from the moment you walk in! In a few sessions we have seen that our drummer has learning so much! Nate is an incredible instructor that has kept our drummer wanting to learn more. Thank you for your hard work.
Three of my grandchildren have been attending Music on the Westside for a little over a year The instructors they have had have done a wonderful job. We lost one instructor because of visa issues Nate and Garren (now gone from Westside Music) have been patient and encouraging. The instructors met each of my grandchildren at their skill level and worked with them. My grandchildren are each confidently working at their skill levels and making progress I am grateful for each instructor’s ability to individualize for my grandchildren. Thank you
