The UNM Music Prep School is the University of New Mexico's community music program, offering affordable year-round classes for students from birth through adult, including early-childhood music (ages 4–7) and Musical Explorations (ages 8–12). Its summer offering, the Summer Music Institute, is a separate program for string players ages 15–25; a dedicated younger-kids summer camp is not detailed online.
