Nice bunch of kids running the place - however, from a business standpoint, I left with no cncise information about how they could help my grandson improve his guitar talent. Also seems a bit pricey- $400 per month - a little steep. Facilities aren't great, location is super weird.

Amazing school with amazing teachers. Our son has been attending for years and it is so nice to be a part of a community and to see the kids grow their talent. Highly recommended.

My daughter was punched by another student during group lessons. The classes are so overfilled and under instructed that the teacher claimed they hadn't heard or seen anything, just realized something was wrong when she was on the ground crying. They disciplined my daughter and then refused to let me see the camera footage to understand what happened. I pulled her out and have continued to receive emails with notes telling me how great her lessons are going.... Even though she's not there.

Our son went for about a year, their format is that you have a 30 min 1-on-1 session and a 1 1/2 hour group band practice every week. The first half of our year was great, he liked the teachers and really enjoyed the songs. We all enjoyed their concerts and he was so excited to perform for his family and friends. However, the past few months we've been having issues where his 1-on-1 teacher has not showed for his lessons, the school doesn't call or inform us or him, he just sits in the lobby waiting. Then, our son has said that often band practice is spent not playing or learning music. Often times they play hang man for the whole time to "ice break" with the newer students, work 1-on-1 with students who need extra help for the entire time, or it's another new teacher who spends the class discussing the new rules or learning style they will implement. We've talked to the school a few times about these issues and the only option they offer are make up classes but they seem to be unsure of when they can schedule them, as the other band class is "working on something different" or there isn't a teacher available for the 1-on-1 session.

School of Rock Albuquerque is amazing! The staff and instructors are incredible. My son has learned so much and has grown not only as a musician but also as a person and since he started taking lessons here. It is a safe environment for kids to hang out with their friends and play music. I wish I’d had a place like this to go to when I was a teenager.
