Albuquerque Little Theatre

Summer classes! Did you know this theater has youth classes? My 7 year old child participated in one weeklong half-day program. Goldilocks and the three bears, they performed a 20-ish minute play on thr last day of camp. My child enjoyed his experience and learned quite a bit. Even the youngest and least mature of the group got to participate within their abilities. Now, im unfamiliar with their actual titles but we met three staff members. A supervisor, who presents with a very animated personality, perfect for overseeing a youth group. A coach who has a formal background in elementary education. Very helpful when managing a class of 15+ kids. Friendly, was able to keep kids on task, recognize when breaks were needed and didnt appear to let kids opinions or bad days effect her demeaner or kindness towards the kids or parents. Unsure of the last staffs position. Secondary hand, from what I could tell, however responsible for emailing parents. The program offers a record of the practice done each day so they can review at home. However, this is '...not her only job...' so dont expect to recieve them in a timely manner. Most emails were recieved late afternoon to evening hours. Much too late for our household and at least 3 other families as we spoke during pick up time (dinner, hygiene, and bedtime routines would of been disrupted) Overall great experience. Down to earth folks. Would recommend for beginners and those wanting to get their kids out of the house and experiencing something new.

I had a great time watching the play Boeing Boeing. It is a beautiful cast for a play about a single man living in Paris from America that has his lazayfair life of beautiful lady that are airlines flight crew in the 60. All was going great till a friend showed up unexpectedly and his lady's time tables were disrupted and he has to deal with all of them. But in the end he find his friend is not only a savior but the voice of reason to cover for him but also the person to show him how to solve his problems of love.

A classic theater with old Hollywood charm. I appreciate the variety of productions, that are excuted well in a small space. There isn't a bad seat in the house, and I've loved everything thing I've seen from Dracula the Musical to The Children Hour. During intermission it's fun to look for old photos or the art upstairs.

We had the best time watch Carole King “Beautiful “ we had never been to Albuquerque Little Theater but I really loved the venue. The acoustics are fantastic there are no bad seats.

I saw Misery and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast was amazing at capturing my attention, and I loved the creativity of the scene shift of the set. They got laughs and spooks out of us. I really loved the way they ended it. I jumped out of my skin a little. I was glad we could have snacks, and there’s not a bad seat in the theater. I enjoyed seeing a real life Emmy from I Love Lucy, the actress who played Ethel! I will definitely be keeping an eye on future performances.
