Steve Burhoe is a wonderful teacher who works great with all ages. He has this talent to communicate exactly what an actor needs to hear to not only improve their performance but change their view of how they approach their characters. I personally have grown so much in my acting abilities due to his teaching style and helping me leave my comfort zone.

I've grown in leaps and bounds using Steve's technique for auditioning on camera! Most of all his support and validation of my skills as a professional storyteller has encouraged me to weave facets of that talent into the craft of acting. Forever grateful that he's been the kind of instructor who's inspired me to embrace and render my gifts and talent to the story created for the camera.

Steve Burhoe is an excellent acting coach! He's taken me under his wing and helped me to grow creatively. Steve is a nice person and trustworthy. He's created a safe space for me to grow creatively and personally. I attend one of his classes virtually. Signing up for his class has helped me find a direction in my life. And I've heard the majority of his students find acting work! Steve's classes are affordable and well-worth it. I recommend signing up now.

Several members of my family have taken Players Craft classes and they cannot be beat. My children who have taken classes have improved in so many ways, not only in acting, but also in real-world abilities--public speaking, interviewing, confidence, etc. In call of his classes, the other members are very encouraging of their peers, and Steve doesn't just present exercises and/or direct the students, but also provides truthful, relevant information on how to navigate the industry whether you are the actor or you are helping guide your child. Steve offers a free, online class once a month so you can "dip your toes" into his methods, and the cost of his full classes CANNOT be beaten!

After taking many of Steve's classes, I have settled into a regular pattern of Practical Acting classes. This is the only way to stay sharp, keep my memory working, and learn new things as the industry changes. I enjoy watching and performing scenes, monologues, and dialogues. Even performance art like stage and poetry is fair game for class, although the focus is primarily on acting for movies. Steve keeps us thinking, being creative, and honest in our work. These classes include coaching by Steve when you have auditions, which often gives me a whole new perspective on audition sides. I could stop taking acting classes, but I would get stale. Even if I had a busy schedule of work, I would continue taking classes, because not only is it helpful, but talent agents prefer their clients to be actively learning. Check. And check.
