Camp Alameda is Butler County Parks & Recreation's summer day camp at Alameda Park, for children ages 5-12, running 8am-4:30pm (late pickup to 5pm) with daily swimming at the Alameda Waterpark plus games, arts and crafts, and weekly themes such as sports, STEM, and animal weeks. The 400-acre county park also has playgrounds, courts and trails.

They have slides, diving boards, two entire pool areas for the little ones to play in safely with splash buckets and waterfalls. There's even night swimming during the summer months and "swim and watch a movie" nights on the weekends. Concession stand is always stocked with great little treats and drinks for everyone. All around, the best pool I've come across in a very long time. 👍✌️
★★★★★Mikey8 SI didn’t really visit the swimming pool but I was in the immediate area. I took my grandson to the Purple Playground that is famous around Butler. It is a very good set up of swings and slides and climbing things. Something to take your children and just let them loose. It is in close with the fence so they can’t run out of sight and there is so much for them to do. It’s a great place to take the kids on a warm day and they love it. My grandson made new friends they’re just running around and having fun. I have never had any problem with anyone there and the kids really enjoy it
★★★★★Donna TalbotAt the Masonic Shelter for a picnic. Absolutely loved it. Plenty of tables and lots of room. Easy to get to the gate for the play area or pool. Can see the sand volley area as well. Plenty of parking space. This shelter also has bathrooms as well which was a great perk.
★★★★★Jeremy WhitmireAlameda Single Tracks have built some nice trails in this park. They reach a wide variety of riders from beginner mountain bikers just learning to go off road, clear up to an advanced riders looking for some fast flowing trails. They have a lot more in the plans!
