Powered by GoogleI was sent here for about a year and I was 13 years old the first day that I was there till the last day I was sexually assaulted by 16 year-old boy every single day and instead of any staff members calling my mom or my parents in concern I was told to “take it outside “ they would encourage him to drag me outside so he could assault me outside of the building. It was dark and I was scared. This happened every day for nine months nobody calls my mom. Nobody showed any sign of concern. No staff member showed any sign of concern. He was not only sexually abusive but physically abusive, and they’ve seen that as well. They would ignore the fact that was crying on the The floor of the stall in the bathroom for hours they would act like I wasn’t there. Please do not send your kid here I beg of you, especially if your child is a girl they do not care. Please keep your kids safe and do not send them here
This place is amazing! They have a pool, movie room, music room, pool table, computer lab, basketball court, and they also offer really cool art programs in the art studio at least 3 days a week. This is a wonderful place to take your teenagers during the summer or after school.
Fun place for many activities for kids to Adults
They have the best gym and workers that help with anything and they help with homework too
I love this center, and I've volunteered here for two years running the youth Dungeons & Dragons club. Awesome basketball court, large computer lab, arts and crafts studio, media room, video games, pool table, air hockey, and an onsite cafe that is super affordable for the teenagers. There's also a gym, and a great aquatic center (swimming pool) in the summertime. Volunteering at the AMCYC has been incredibly fulfilling and I am very happy to be supporting such a great youth center in my community.
