Circle V Ranch Camp is a residential (sleepaway) summer camp in the Los Padres National Forest near Santa Barbara, about a mile and a half from Lake Cachuma. It runs eight six-day sessions, each serving roughly 150 campers ages 7-13, with hiking, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, sports, miniature golf and campfires; children stay in air-conditioned cabins with three daily meals. Operated in connection with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, it emphasizes affordability through tiered pricing and scholarships.

★Jasmine KoskelaWorst camp I've ever been too! I injured myself while trying to climb out of their pool when my foot slipped and I ended up seriously damaging my leg. I had to hobble all up and down the hills without any help, they refused to let me see the nurse, and worst of all the lady that was supposed to be "watching" us accused me of faking it despite the fact that several of her coworkers witnesses my injury. Don't send your kids here, these people don't care about anyone's health and well being.
