UCSB's Beach 'n Surf & Kayak Camp is a day camp run by the university's Department of Recreation at Campus Point in Santa Barbara for kids ages 5-14. Days center on the ocean, with surfing and kayak instruction, stand-up paddling, bodyboarding and snorkeling, plus beach games, tidepooling and visits to the UCSB Marine Science Institute touch tanks. Lifeguards are on duty at all times and all counselors are Red Cross-certified lifeguards with ocean-rescue training.
