Micah is incredibly knowledgeable about his sport, calling us ahead of time to help select the right beach at the right time of day for our skill level and kids' ages. He is a great instructor, very personable, patient, and funny. We went over the fundamentals then wasted no time getting into the water for some real-world practice. Though it was our first time surfing, we were all able to get up on the board and ride several waves to shore. Both Micah and Reid followed up each attempt with practical feedback and words of encouragement that helped us measurably improve over the two-hour block.
