Youth Soccer International runs summer soccer camps for kids ages 5 to 12 on the turf fields at Alcott Elementary School and Hawthorne Scholastic Academy in Chicago's Lincoln Park and Lake View neighborhoods. Camps are half-day, 9:00am to noon, running June 8 through July 10 with week-by-week registration and campers grouped by age; all skill levels are welcome and days mix scrimmages with games. A full-day option at Alcott is available through a partnership with a neighboring camp, with YSI coaches walking campers over at the end of the morning session.

My little girl has been with them 4 years, so she has had all of the coaches by now and has loved them all! Also a great community of parents/children involved! The players (kids) are all super into YSI and they love it so much that they “stick” and there’s virtually no turnover at all, like some soccer organizations, kids leave frequently and new kids come in etc. The kids for boys and girls stay for years, are all very used to each other and sort of grow up together.
