Great place to go work out before, after or during work on a lunch break. Something for the entire family. Great programs for seniors.

(-) YMCA really needs to stress allowing way more available hours to be in the kids gym (Lyons Sports & Fitness area) for kids and parents. Its under utilized and would be great to have kids play and get energy out during the daytime and early afternoon. Get supervision or just allow Parents (guardians) to play on the areas that NOT restricted. (+) Genuinely like the environment. Staff can be more friendly, energetic, and more welcome attitude at the front desk. Staff in the gym area are solid. (+) Glad they are updated equipment in the gym. Basketball floor needs to be cleaned and waxed for prior play and traction on the court. (-) Summer camp need vast improvment on Staffing (maturity, character, limit or stop openly cursing in front of the children. Staff needs to help the kids have fun but be socially aware and respectful. PERIOD!

1/11/26 - I came to this location with my friend to consider a membership due to my friend having one. I was being helped by a younger women who appeared to be new as she was needing help from her coworker who was an older hispanic women. The younger women was informing me of the price of the membership stating it would be $29, my friend made a comment stating it used to be $26. The comment wasn’t stated in a negative light but just a broad statement of the increase. The older Hispanic women who was not part of the conversation inserted herself stating “no it was $27”, my friends responds “I’m pretty sure it was $26” and the women’s responds back “when did you start your membership? I’ve been here for 4 years and it’s always been $27” in a very passive aggressive tone. I have worked as a receptionist before in a high volume place and never have I VOLUNTARILY inserted myself in a conversation to make myself feel better. We were very thrown off by her tone which created a negative experience. I was surprised the younger women acted with much more grace than the older women. I also attached a photo of the bill and date of my friend being charged her $26. Just a reminder that it takes nothing to be kind, and you do not always have to be right because it creates a space to learn and grow. The only reason I’m leaving a 2 star is due to the younger women in the front who was kind, but unfortunately I will no longer be considering this place.

Refused to refund my personal training sessions that were prepaid . Due to upcoming surgery’s I’ll be out a year so I informed them they said I had to use before the year is up which might not be possible. Hopefully they give my personal training trainer the money he is great (Ali). It cost me $168 to quit the Y today .
