Powered by Google5/20/26 i went to scan my bagde and a staff member couldn’t see my sign in. I tried to show Danny my ymca information on my phone to show i was active and he refused to look at it and told me to write my name down. I refused and told him to do it he threaten to call the police If i went down stairs so the person behind me told me he would do it. Later i Came upstairs to get a cup of coffee and joe apologized but danny brought the situation back up so i walked off and he told me he will make a note of what happened.
Recently this establishment called the police on an animal rescue, that was there to rescue domestic ducks that would die from the cold and ice or predator attacks. The rescue got a ticket because of This YMCA, and the ducks were not rescued. If they die, this is at he hands of this YMCA. So much for “community outreach”! If they don’t care about ducks, they don’t care about you either!
This YMCA is one of the friendliest places i have ever visited. Always a smile and a greeting. i use the weight room and cardio area and they have plenty of machines and equipment to use. The place is clean and equipment is new. Locker room has plenty of lockers and one brings your own lock. This YMCA is part of Silver Sneakers program which is a huge plus! One will have to pay for parking if driving. I live downtown so the location is great.
The Sauna is completely moldy and no one will clean it. It’s been remodeled just weeks ago and no one will address this serious issue. Do not go into this sauna until they remove the mold shown in the photos. This is our neighborhood Y.
I love this gym, but the two stars is due to the lack of consistency of daycare workers. As a parent trying to find time to work out is tough enough. It's made harder when I take a scoop of pre-workout drive 10 minutes to get to the gym, and pay for an hour of parking to find out there is no daycare. Why am I paying for my daughters membership if not for daycare? Schedule three people back there or have a contingency. Get it together
