★★★★★Sherry PierceWow so happy to see that they're still around I went to this camp back in the 70s-80s and it changed my life I became a social butterfly LOL my daughter also attended in the'90s and she as well thought this was the best camp ever I took a group of kids in 2015 to McLean so that they could experience what it would be like we only stayed for the weekend but it was definitely worth it I couldn't believe I was still able to make a camp fire . I even got a chance to see my old cabin. a lot of great memories remembering the great times I had as a kid. we got the camp ready for the new campers coming for the summer . I couldn't believe how at 7 years old I walked around the campsite freely but as a grown up it definitely looks spooky LOL too many horror movies 🤣 the kids had a great time as well I'm so happy to see that they're still around. I love camp MacLean it has forever changed me my daughters thank you and for the great experience.

What truly sets this camp apart is the incredible team running it. The staff makes all the difference, and they go above and beyond to create a welcoming, exciting, and safe environment for the kids. The leader, who goes by Crispy, is absolutely fantastic—funny, kind, and full of energy. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Sydney and KiKi are also outstanding! They strike the perfect balance between being fun, encouraging, and firm when needed. Their ability to connect with the kids while keeping everything running smoothly is impressive. Overall, this camp exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience my daughter and I had. We’ll definitely be back!
★★★★★V PIt's a very well maintained YMCA camp location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This location had a lot of options for kids to do at the waterfront, playground for soccer, baseball, basketball, archery and a huge set up for obstacle/rope course.
★★★★Steve MascheriHave gone here a few times for wilderness scouts (previously indian guides) for overnight & weekend camping. Accommodations are simple but adequate and the food provided was quite delicious. The site is clean and well maintained. Directors and staff are helpful and quite patient with the kids, especially given there's 100+ campers running about. Activities included a wall climb, high rope course, archery, canoeing and scavenger hunt. There was fishing but it was a stick with a string and only bread given as bait. The one frustrating issue was the reasoning for the pier usage. Couldn't use one pier for fishing so we piled 9 kids on a pier while the other was empty. Overall a very enjoyable experience but if you plan to fish, bring your own equipment and a little patience.
