We had such a wonderful experience at Camp Minikani for our family’s very first camping trip ever! The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful from start to finish, and they made what could have felt overwhelming feel fun and manageable instead. They answered all our questions, helped us feel prepared, and created such a welcoming environment for our family. The campground was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for making great memories with our kids. We’re so grateful for how supportive everyone was in helping make our first camping experience such a success. We can’t wait to come back!

My child loved the two week camp. She wrote telling us and was upset when camp was over. (Maybe she hates our house🤪) Yesterday when I picked her up… she hugged and loved on us all like she was happy to see us. She had tons of em fun stories to share. Great photos and connections made for long lasting memories. She’ll be back over the winter and next summer. Highly recommend! Thank you Camp Minikani!

We have gone to Camp Minikani as a family since 1994. My husband has been a camper since 1961. This place is dear to our heart. Children who camp overnight here absolutely love it. They learn so much about themselves and others. They make new friends from all over there world. The counselors are awesome and make camp fun and exciting for the kids. Being in nature is fantastic in itself, then your add in the rock climb, obstacle course, horses, paddle boarding, canoes, swimming and hiking, just to name a few activities. Family camp weekends are a great time to spend with your family.

- Wonderful traditions - Amazing counselors and staff - Organized I am originally from the Milwaukee area, and several of my friends attended and/or worked at Minikani during the summers. I am so happy that I was able to enroll them in this historic summer camp. We are moving overseas, but I definitely hope my daughters can visit their grandparents next summer and attend Minikani again!!! My girls absolutely loved their 1-week experience at Minikani!!! It will probably be the best part of their summer this year. They talked about their daily experience non-stop in the car ride home every night. It was a great way to experience nature in this new, crazy world that exists. Thank you to the staff, who continued to maintain the high standards of daily health check and drop-off protocol. It was great to see the counselors properly wearing their masks when they interacted with me via car drop-off.

Both of my children love attending Camp Minikani. My older son does both overnight and day camp. My younger daughter attends day camp. I love that they are active and outside almost all day. The camp has the tight blend of rules (for safety like the swim tests and checking ID's at pick up) and freedom to be themselves. The counselors are consistently amazing. I love watching my daughter run up to her counselors each morning with a giant hug. They are also helpful and accommodating from an administrative standpoint as well. Highly recommend!
