I posted on yelp about a counselor that works at this camp that thinks putting herself in an industrial size dryer is cool. I also sent this email to the camp. The yelp review was deleted but I will repost it. Please be aware of who is influencing your children. Email message sent with no response from camp; I came across this post made by one of your camp counselors. This is disturbing that your organization would hire someone who thinks being in a dryer is cool.

"Can I stay longer next year?” My son just finished his third summer here as a camper, after six wonderful summers at family camp, and the experience continues to exceed all expectations. The level of care, intentionality, and dedication that goes into creating magical, life-changing moments for campers is truly remarkable. A few highlights: The Staff: Warm, engaging, energetic, and fun—this is an extraordinary team. They come from around the corner and across the globe, bringing with them a passion for making every camper feel seen, welcomed, and valued. The Atmosphere: From the moment you drive up the camp road, it feels like entering another world. Towering trees, breathtaking mountains, and a sparkling lake set the stage for endless summer adventures. The Activities: The balance is perfect—time with the cabin and unit, along with the freedom to choose coaching periods and activities during free time. My son especially loved waterskiing, swimming, and paddleboarding! At the end of camp, he summed it up best: “Thanks for sending me to camp, Dad! I had the best time! Can I stay longer next year?” I couldn’t be more grateful to the amazing people who make this experience possible. This camp is a true gift—for campers and families alike.

This place is magical. I went as a camper in the 80s and now my children age 12 and 14 attend each summer. We have recently doubled down with attending Hi-Rock's Family Camp, where we all get to experience the magic of camp together. With 1000 acres and a private lake on property, it is very hard to beat this destination when you want to get outside, disconnect from your devices, and connect with one another.

Grandchildren absolutely LOVED the camp. As soon as my grandson pulled up he asked if he could attend the summer camp next summer. No frills. Such a wholesome atmosphere. Granddaughter ate multiple helpings during meal time. Lots of spiders, a field mouse came into the room and tons of fun.

What an incredible place! I was a camper here from the ages of 11-16 and then as a staff member. I recently went back for their family camp. It is located on a beautiful private lake, tucked away in the Berkshire mountains. As a camper, I loved the chance to try new activities, whether it was archery or waterskiing or the high ropes course. The staff is enthusiastic, energetic and always incredibly supportive. It is a truly magical place where kids and staff members from around the northeast and around the world come together to learn skills, grow emotionally, have incredible fun and ultimately leave as better people. I can't recommend this place enough, there is something incredibly special about the place and the people there. Also, they are open year round for group rentals, so it is really great place for family reunions or team building retreats.
