Camp Shalom in Windsor is a Jewish traditional day camp affiliated with the Mandell JCC of Greater Hartford, set on 75 acres of pines along the Farmington River for over 40 years. ★★★★★Jeff LanteigneAlthough I don't have any kids, I do transport them all over the place. For the past 2 summers I've taken 3 kids to and from camp each day over the summer. Ages 4, 6 and 7. This is an all day camp where they get to take a bus in and out everyday and are picked up and dropped off at a local destination making it pretty easy . Dropoff is approx 8am, and pickup approx 4;20. The kids always seem to enjoy themselves and love coming back. It's a little rough on super hot days, but it is for everyone. Staff is super organized, know all the kids by name and get rave reviews from the kids. The camp is located on a beautiful plot of land in Windsor. Highly recommend!
