Canceling out S G my brother loves this camp. Message for the person complaining about the six week camp not having the activities as they wanted. If you want to have activities you can come to the long camp if you want to not have to do anything you can come to the six day camp.

My kids love their camp! This is their third summer there and I think we all wish they could stay even longer. Staff is great and some of t the relationships made will be life long. I also loved the 11 summers I spent there as a child and young adult. Camp Frank A Day is a place where everyone can be themself whilst gaining confidence, self reliance, becoming a well rounded Human and growing into an even better future self.

I really wanted to love this place. Climbing wall not offered this summer (and not offered last summer either). Sad if your kid loves climbing. The camp needs to remove this from their activity list. Another activity that's advertised but not offered - waterski. No boat to even tow the kids on a tube. Lastly, kids in the camp's 6-day session are shortchanged 2-days of water sports due to lifeguard training. Imagine a big beautiful lake and perfect weather, yet no swimming. This was the biggest disappointment. Why couldn't schedules be arranged on these days to accommodate both campers and lifeguards? On the plus side, very nice cabin mates and an excellent junior counselor who went above and beyond in caring for a special needs camper.

I could spend hours upon hours writing about this camp but it would still never accurately depict the many years of incredible experiences I had here. My 8 year old son will be attending a 2-week session this summer, and I’m thrilled to know I’m sending him “away” somewhere I feel 100% positive he will be happy, cared for and safe. I’m already anticipating him pestering me about staying the remainder of the summer and him routinely talking about camp during the school year to follow. Plain and simple- you would be making a mistake by keeping this opportunity from your child. They will meet lifelong friends, build independence, confidence, and have true summer fun outdoors without electronics. #grayistheway

My daughter has attended this camp for several weeks in the past years--she has loved every second and can't wait to return each summer. The camp has beautiful facilities, is very well organized and situated on a lake so campers can participate in lots of water sports and activities. The additional activity offerings are also abundant and the structure of camp allows campers to make new friends readily. The counselors at camp are true role models for young campers and have made a huge, positive impact on my daughter. The counselors and management of the camp is truly caring, thoughtful about camper needs, and wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend Camp Frank A. Day enough.
