The Peppertree YMCA in the Montgomery area, part of the YMCA of Greater Montgomery, runs a traditional summer day camp. Association day camps serve roughly ages 5-11 (with a Jr camp from age 4) and include weekly swim lessons, field trips, games, arts and crafts and themed activities each week. It is a nonprofit, community-open program.

I am really excited to see all the upgrades the Y has made especially the outdoor workout area. I am sure I will be using it a lot. The gym staff is really nice and welcoming. I have done some classes which I have enjoyed, but my real interest is personal training. I have been working with Anthony for a long time and he is a super duper trainer. I am glad to see that he and Jessica are still there. It is nice to come into a gym and see a smiling face and have them know your name. I love that the gym is for 18 and over. I know it may be inconvenient for some, but for others like me it is appreciated. Thank you YMCA for a great place to workout!!

There is a large selection of weights, along with exercise equipment and a wide walking track upstairs. Even though I don’t participate in them, there are several exercise classes that are well attended. A special added feature is this Y is an adults only facility.
