Xtreme Dance Center runs week-long summer dance camps Monday-Friday for ages 3-14, geared to beginner and intermediate dancers. Campers work through jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, breaking, tumbling, contemporary and modern technique across the week and perform in a parent show on the last day; a camp shirt is included in tuition. Dancers ages 6 and up bring a lunch for a 30-minute daily lunch break. 2026 camps run July 6-10, July 13-17 and July 28-31, with discounts for booking multiple weeks, and the studio also operates a location in Aurora.

Powered by GoogleFriendly staff! What I love most is there were a lot of options for us to choose from. They have ballet, hip hop and jazz ranging from ages 2 and up! Perfect way to keep our little one surrounded by other people who share her interests. We had missed a day due her being sick and we were able to make up the class stress free. We look forward to coming here. Thank you all for what you do!
I had such a poor experience with the 3's pop-up class today. The teacher (who seemed kind but inexperienced working with kids) was very strict about the kids staying on their floor markers and learning the routine...but they are only 3, I think her expectations were too high. After a while they went to do the craft portion, which was stringing beads. The small beads made this activity is too advanced for the young 3 year olds. After about 15 minutes of doing the craft the teacher said they were to be dismissed exactly 30 minutes early since, "they weren't that into the dancing or the beading." This really surprised me since that is a large chunk of time. I told her that I wanted my child to finish the class and burn off some energy and have fun and that we should just do freestyle dance. The teacher said she tried that but agreed to try again anyway. The moms joined them for the class and the kids seemed to have fun in the rest of the class, however, the teacher didn't have songs picked out. She kept asking for requests and looking them up on youtube, not having a playlist or any ideas of what to play for kids songs in a kids dance class was surprising to me. I also felt that they were extremely tough in pressuring one of the mom/child attendees to leave her child and let her cry, they didn't want the mom to sit in the room. The staff kept insisting that they have been teachers and its better to "rip it off like a band-aid" with kids who don't want to join the class in these crying scenarios, which is such an antiquated view and really not healthy for the child, and does not build trust with the child/teacher. TLDR: Disappointed in everything. Will not be returning :( Update: The response from the team was about a child with separation anxiety which my child has never had. I was upset about the class ending so early and the teacher not knowing how to work with young kids. They just want to play and dance around. It was too strict for 3 year olds. If the teacher didn't know what else to do with the time they should have done freeze dance instead of ending the class early.
I would highly recommend Xtreme to friends and family! My daughter has attended Xtreme dance since she was 3 years old and is now on the competitive team. Ms. Brenna encouraged my daughter to join the Hip Hop Team and she’s been dancing competitively every year since… she is now almost 15 years old and loves to dance! Ms. Brenna and Mr.JC are great directors! They listen, give constructive criticism and truly care about the kids! Timely communication has improved over the past as well as better listening skills from the front desk and for the most part our experience has been good. If your child has a love and passion for dance, I would recommend Xtreme to any parent who wants to keep their child engaged and active both mentally and physically. Xtreme really excels in the Hip Hop category of dance and it’s always exciting to watch them perform each year!
My daughter had her first dance class at Xtreme Dance Center yesterday and the experience was really nice. The staff did a great job explaining where to go and what to expect. My baby ran into her class full of excited and after the class was over she ran out full of excitement for next weeks class. We will definitely be returning!
My daughter has been dancing here for 9 years. The amount she has gained as a person and a dancer is impossible to describe in a short review. This picture with her XDF brothers and sisters taken the night before we went into quarantine in March illustrates best the dedication and respect for her team that has been cultivated by the classes, teachers and directors at the studio.
