The Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF), through its Arthur Ashe Children's Program, runs a free summer camp for underserved DC youth that pairs tennis instruction with academic enrichment to combat summer learning loss. The full-day program (about 8 hours a day, five days a week, roughly nine weeks) serves children in grades 2–9, includes breakfast and lunch, and welcomes players of all levels; WTEF also runs the Arthur Ashe Children's Program afterschool.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact WTEF- Arthur Ashe Children's Program directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.
