Woody Ward Community Center is a District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) recreation center in Washington, D.C. that offers DPR's summer day camp program. DPR camps run weekdays from 9am to 5pm with before- and after-care available, and are grouped by age (roughly 3–13) into programs such as Little Explorers (ages 3–5) and Discovery Camp, offering recreation, games and enrichment. ★★★black loneI have been writing letters to the DPW about having a legitimate Track placed on the grounds. To no avail. There are some outdoor renovations taking place now, but there is no plan for a track . I suppose only privileged neighborhoods deserve a safe place to walk and jog. The staff inside is friendly. Representation for Ward 7 is a bismal.
