Windy City Baseball is a Rosemont-based travel baseball and development organization serving boys 8U through 18U, with open-enrollment camps and clinics that the club states are open to any and all players. Those clinics run as short weekly classes at the Rosemont Dome rather than full-day camps: 60- to 75-minute sessions over four to five weeks covering hitting mechanics, a pitching movement lab focused on arm care and movement quality, and an all-skills class on a full-size indoor field rotating through throwing, receiving, fly balls, ground balls and baserunning. Sessions are grouped by age from 7 to 14. The club's travel teams are separate and placed by tryout.

★★John CI would have to say the tryouts were awesome and very well done. Probably one of the best I have seen. There were not many boys at tryouts and I know they are lacking spots on teams. My boys were put in a "bubble" but after a few weeks we already accepted an offer from a team with a winning record. Probably shouldn't shoot for the stars cause you might not hit anything. In addition, I can completely understand how they avoid conflict with parents because they must have a way.
★Juan Daniel CalvilloIf your kid makes the team, he should be good enough to play on the team and not be benched while they move up younger players to play instead. You pay all this money to put your kid on a travel team. Not to mention hotels, gas money, work vacation time , food and other expenses just to see some of the kids not get any plaing time ...for some of the players to be benched while they bring in kids from other teams is insulting. But yes its in the contract "playing time is earned, not guaranteed"....read the fine print before you make a bad decision.They will gladly take your $$$
