The teaching methods at Wildfish are not just inappropriate—they are downright abusive. The instructors consistently resort to humiliation, bullying, and berating the children in the name of “pushing them to a higher level.” Rather than fostering confidence and a love for theater, these tactics instill fear, anxiety, and a complete loss of self-esteem. I strongly caution any parent considering Wildfish for their child. There are other organizations that understand how to nurture talent while respecting and protecting young performers' mental health. Wildfish, unfortunately, is not one of them.
★S MischPSA: Beware of emotional abuse! She asked my daughter, to her face and in front of the whole class, if she has ADHD and told her she “is smarter than that” when having an off practice. Then after being confronted by me, kicked her out of the class. I’m completely blown away! I hope your children are talking to you and not being abused behind the curtain.
