Powered by GoogleMy son is autistic and has worked with many instructors over the years, so patience and understanding are extremely important to us. Andres is truly one of the best teachers my son has worked with. He understands that every child learns differently and meets my son exactly where he is—whether his mind is moving fast or needs extra time. This is a wonderful place to bring your kids, and we will absolutely continue coming back so my son can keep having fun while learning. My son loves coming here and enjoys learning the piano. We highly recommend this place for kids.
My son has been taking drum lessons here for a little over three months now, and we have been so impressed from day one. The facility itself is great — plenty of parking, and every lesson room has cameras so you can watch right from the lobby, or you can go into the room with your student if you prefer. The lobby has plenty of seating and never feels cramped or chaotic. Helen, the receptionist up front, is incredibly organized, friendly, and polite. Communication is also exceptional. EVERYTHING can be handled by text — scheduling, questions, reminders, follow-ups — and that works SO WELL for me and my ADHD brain. Simple. Quick. No phone tag. I write reviews when I feel something genuinely needs to be shared — when my experience can help someone else make an informed decision. This is one of those times. And then there’s his instructor… Mr. Andrés. He’s not just talented — he is a gifted teacher. Coming from 20 years in education, I can recognize that rare combination of instinctive pedagogy, precision, and true instructional skill — and he has it. You can see him actively assessing and adjusting strategies in real time to meet each student’s needs. Even the way he uses his iPad as a whiteboard, reference, and visual teaching tool is done seamlessly — intentional, purposeful, and effective. He uses refined vocabulary, teaches music theory and notation reading with clarity, and builds real technique and musicianship — not just “drum playing.” His correction style is affirming, his pacing is strategic, and he motivates without anxiety or pressure. While I haven’t interacted with other instructors here yet, I can say this confidently: A program is only as strong as the quality of its instructors — and the level of instruction my son is receiving from Mr. Andrés reflects the owner’s commitment to hiring exceptionally talented and highly skilled educators. He is truly exceptional — he is going places — and I feel genuinely fortunate that my son gets to learn from him now, soaking up as much as he can while he can. This has been absolutely the best decision we could have made for my son’s musical journey. If you’re looking for music instruction in our area, I highly recommend Kingwood Arts Academy.
We’ve had such a great experience with piano lessons for our 6- and 10-year-old! The teachers are so patient and really make learning fun for both kids. Communication has been awesome — the teachers and the owner always keep us in the loop about progress, events, and anything we need to know. You can tell they genuinely care about the students and their love for music. Highly recommend!
I’m happy to have my son here, his teacher Daniel is very patient and helps him as a first time learner on the guitar. He’s very nice and seems like a good person. My son was reading music the other day and I was so proud. He had no prior music knowledge aside from music class. Over all my son is so happy to tell all of his friends that he can play guitar and he loves showing his family what he learned. I recommend this place.
We love Ms. Amelie! My son is 4 years old, he is autistic, and non verbal. He loves music. Ms. Amelie has so much patience with my boy, all her lessons are always adjusted for my son, and I enjoy watching him have fun and learn about music. I see how much my son has grown to like Ms. Amelie as well. I’m so happy we found this place.
