Wild Ridge is a Young Life Christian camp on 1,100 acres along the Gauley River near Summersville Lake. It hosts summer camp weeks for students, pairing outdoor adventure with a Christian, Gospel-centered program, plus weekend camping during the school year. The camp has been built out through a major expansion campaign to eventually host up to 500 campers per week.

★★★★★Jay BishopWe've been going to Wild Ridge since it began opening. It's a Young Life Camp that is in the process of building. A few things that make that really cool if you're familiar with YL. 1. This Camp is AWESOME. It's beautiful and very well done and cared for. Every thing you use and will stay in is the highest quality. 2. The staff and care is exceptional- you always have people on call who can help if you don't know where something is or need help, and they make sure everything is prepared with you in mind! They mark all the doors with your names, provide linens, etc. They also have a great meeting space for big groups or anything you might need. 3. The camp is in development- which I think is the coolest part. You get to see the camp being built and they give you information on where they are at in construction and when things will be built. 4. It's really close to a lot of cool stuff. Summersville is a awesome small town with great attractions and it's very close to New River Gorge. It's very cool and we will continue using it as long as possible! I cannot recommend this camp enough.

We have used this camp for the last few years hosting ~50 college students/week 2x a week. The Gauley River Lodge had been perfect for us and the camp staff are excellent to work with, communicate well and have a posture of service. I highly recommend and we will keep using it for sure.
