Girl Scout camp on more than 500 acres near Morrow in southwest Ohio, operated by Girl Scouts of Western Ohio and accredited by the American Camp Association. Campers sleep in lodges, cabins, platform tent units, elevated treehouses or Conestoga-wagon shelters, and the property's program areas include a pool, Four Winds Lake for canoeing and kayaking, an archery range, a climbing wall, a hatchet range and low and high challenge courses. The camp runs council overnight sessions in summer and is also bookable year-round by Girl Scout troops and groups whose leaders hold the council's camp training. Camperships are available: once a family has registered and paid the $75 deposit they can request financial assistance or apply Digital Dough cookie earnings toward the cost.

★★Emily LynchWent to camp here a few years ago, bathrooms were not in good condition and our “cabins” at their Beechwood campgrounds were literal sheds. I don’t think they even had windows. Their “paintball” activity for one of the camps was underwhelming and consisted of standing 5 feet away from a target with 5 paintballs and a slingshot that no one had the strength to use. If you want a good camp experience you’re much better off sending your kids to Camp Kern up the road.
