Cub World is a Cub Scout resident camp in Loveland operated by the Dan Beard Council of Scouting America. During summer it hosts the Cub Camp Adventures program for registered Cub Scouts (Tiger through Webelos), with themed areas such as Pioneer Fort, Medieval Castle, Mountain Man Village and Miner's Camp, plus archery and BB-gun ranges; the rest of the year it serves Scout units and groups. Powered by GoogleThe entrance is so rough an rocky like 1000 potholes. The harry potter was ok, was like a 45 min to a hr walk. Lacked alot imo had long light trails the only thing that made it potter was the sounds an music. The hot chocolate an hot butter beer was really good.
Visited the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest (11/25). A well done event with a layout that winds through the hillside woods. The atmosphere certainly fit the movie.
Went for the Harry Potter Experience. Everyone was super friendly, we had a great time!
Excellent experience. Thrilling and expertly done woodland scenes. Audio was high quality.
This camp is dilapidated… we stayed in Mountain Man village and paid $360 to stay two nights. They have tents with cots.. the cots are rusted and the tents are full of holes. My son and I woke up to everything we brought being soaked and my son was shivering. We ran to the shelter to dry ourselves and our things at 5 in the morning. I saw water damage at the castle and was told that it’s been like that since 2015! The stairs to go to the pool are falling apart and dry rotted. The Trading Post I was excited to shop at because they were supposed to have a shirt for the year, only had old merch. It really seems like they haven’t put any money in to the upkeep of this place. The pond is completely choked with algae and smells awful. I was so upset that my son fundraised and was so excited to come to this camp and this is how it turned out. Until they renovate I would not recommend anyone come here. It’s a shame because the staff is so fun and friendly, you really can feel that there is a great spirit to this place but at some point you have to maintain something like this to keep it going.
