I never thought I would go through such an experience. First, the coach says that if my son is not in FIT, they should be games that he wouldn’t be able to play and he will not get him to play and that in the tournament he will play 30% of the games. I never saw in the contract that it said that if your son is not fit, he will not play some games . And the worst thing is how a coach can tell a child that he is not in fit when first, before making a statement like that to a child, he should talk to the parents. You can't imagine the trauma it can cause to a child. This club was the worst thing that could have happened to my son. He had never had an experience like this until I had the misfortune of running into that coach.
Coaches are great and I’m getting better but the team needs a full field for a better practice session. Most of the time we only play on half the pitch and then it gets too crowded
One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a youth sports league. Communication was non existent and when brought up to the coach and director of coaches they could care less. Basically said a first year coach was one of the best and if I didn't like it then find another team. When you’re paying 1,800 for your kid to play soccer and the coach isn’t showing up, that’s a problem. THere was one incident where we had to almost forfeit because we didnt have a coach, but luckily one of the parents had a player card. New coaches came in for the next season and thought let’s give them a chance. Just as bad. They play favoritism in my opinion. It’s all about who you know and yes I know this might sound like a bitter parent but when a B squad bench rider makes the premier team when the new coaches come in… seems pretty fishy .
STAY AWAY. HORRIBLE COACHING!! POORLY RUN SOCCER CLUB. My son plays for the younger team and the coach doesn't even show up half the time to games or practices. He discriminate against players, plays favorites, and is constantly "recruiting" other players for the already full team roster. It seems this team is more focussed on winning games than developing players. So sad to see this happening at such a young level. What's worse... parents have complained to the head office of the club, and they don't seem to care about what is going on. They are turning a blind eye to all of the complaints. We will not be back next season. SO disappointing.
