West Seattle Performing Arts is a Seattle Junction dance school that runs summer dance camps and intensives alongside its year-round dance, acting and music classes. The 2026 summer lineup is a series of one- and two-week open-enrollment sessions graded by level, including My First Dance Camp (Disney themed, July 8-17), Beginner Dance Camp "Dance Jam" (July 13-24), Pre-Teen and Teen Accelerated Dance Intensives (July 20-31 and July 27-Aug 7), and a Classical Dance Intensive (Aug 3-14). The studio has four studios and describes the camps as all-ages experiences; partial payment plans and proration are offered.

She got to pick her music, invite about 20 kids from her class, and learn choreography to the song she picked with a performance at the end. Christina was great to work with and made planning easy. She provided a cake, juice, plate, table covers - and there was a set up for a piñata at the end. Would highly recommend for a child’s party!

New dancers and performers quickly fit right in to the safe loving environment full of music skilled dancers and performers. My daughter adores her and her assistants (from more advanced classes) who come to help out during the class. What I also like is there is choreography and theme to dances, kids are exposed to grace and beautiful classical music from an early age, and they also get to perform end of the year which they are so proud of!

My daughter is inspired, excited and has become quite skilled in her dancing abilities. The performances are far from what you’d expect from typical dance shows with so much raw art, amazing music and TALENT! Less glitz, more creativity (still totally adorable) We are so fortunate to have WSPA in our community and we look forward to watching our child flourish in this artistic environment.
