West Loop Soccer Club, now operating as PSG Academy Chicago, runs outdoor summer soccer camps for ages 5 to 18 at multiple Chicago locations, following the PSG Academy curriculum with US Soccer Federation and UEFA licensed coaches. Camps run week-long from June through mid-August and are beginner-friendly, with campers grouped by age and ability; the day mixes functional and technical training, small-sided games and a daily World Cup tournament. Full day runs 9:00am–3:00pm with lunch included, half day 9:00am–12:00pm, and free early drop-off from 8:30am. Guest-coach weeks include PSG Academy, FC Red Star and Master Class camps.

Anyone who has ever stepped onto a soccer field will very quickly recognize the caliber of coaches on staff. Not only are they former professional players but their love for the game comes through in their patience. I think it’s appropriate to point something out to anyone that may be new to organized soccer. This is not another “activity” where you simply sign up and drop off your child. If your child has behavioral issues, this is NOT the club for you. It requires a commitment that some may not be accustomed to yet. I have already seen tremendous growth in my daughter’s foundational skills but the best part is the pride she’s developing through discipline, practice and hard work. Both my wife and I are very excited to watch our daughter grow under the guidance of this club.
