Me and my wife had SO much fun doing the couples archery. It was our date night for four weeks, and it was something we both looked forward to. We loved shooting the bows (they adjusted everyone’s bow—bows are provided—to fit each person’s desired draw weight) and had a lot of fun laughing and joking with the other couples and instructors. The instructors worked really hard to make this a great experience and it really was. To make things even better the last night is a DELICIOUS meal. Seriously, it was spectacular. All in all, we can’t wait for them to hold this Couples Archery again because we’ll definitely be there. Thanks guys!
Absolutely disgusted with the 5th grade coach. Our family is so disappointed with football this year. My son has been waiting for 2 years to graduate from flag football to tackle. He is only 10 and going to be in 5th grade. First day of meeting, the coach had the biggest ego and thinks he is a military Sargent. My 10 year old is taller and bigger than all the other small 5th graders. But is a gentle friendly guy. This coach ran my child to the point of almost passing out in 100 degree weather. Refused to let him, take a knee and catch his breath. Made the other team mates run extra when my son couldn't keep up with the much smaller children, even when he put 110% effort in. Which caused immediate resentment towards my child. My son was humiliated. Then he kept calling him 'big guy' instead of his name, which was on a label on his back. Yet called all the other players by their names. My 10 year old child, that didn't fit into his norm, was humiliated and now refuses to play, which breaks my heart for him. Worst experience ever. Shame on this coach for not treating these kids like the young kids they are and making this experience fun for all of them, not just his buddies kids. Kids should never be bullied especially by adults. This man should not be coaching little children. Now they are backing up the coach because they are all friends and want to speak with a child about the situation. This is all being handled completely wrong and if you cannot treat children nicely you should not be working with or around children. Coaches and teachers can make or break a child’s confidence because they are a big impact on that child.
