Waxhaw Athletic Association is an all-volunteer nonprofit youth sports organization in Union County that offers summer soccer day camps for players roughly ages 5 to 15, plus shorter evening micro-camps for ages 3 to 6. Camps range from all-skills recreational sessions to academy and elite tracks for competitive players, covering technique, small-sided games and match play. The association also runs seasonal volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball, flag football and cheer programs.

★J AllenThe basketball league is awful. I do not recommend for kids development. League officials are untrained and allow way too much fouling. There were almost at least two physical altercations between parents because of hostile environments in the gym and kids getting hurt. Poor athletic facilities with very old floors. Most important, the director of this organization is unprofessional, doesn’t respond to concerns timely or just ignored you completely. Parents are coaches with no experience. Not worth the $250 fee! Look for alternative options.
