RecPlex West is the Washington Township Recreation Department's second recreation center in the Centerville/Dayton, Ohio area, home base for a broad summer camp lineup for ages 3-16 that runs about ten weeks from early June. Options range from traditional outdoor camps to art, theatre, and sports tracks; for example, Sunrise Play (ages 3-5) meets half-day 9 a.m.-noon with crafts, games, adventures in Countryside Park, and twice-weekly swimming. Campers use both indoor facilities plus a climbing wall, archery, and gym.

★★Dani SchwartzThe toys are way old and out of date. They have everyone sanitize their hands but all of the equipment has hand prints on clear surfaces and looks like they haven't been cleaned. We were the first ones there. Several of the toys are broken or dirty or are missing pieces They also have staff that watch you like a hawk to ensure you are following the rules but it feels like you are on a supervised visit The larger play sets are nice but we will not be returning
★★★★★CostThey have the best new years eve event. It's affordable, fun, and everyone is super friendly. Their kiddie pool is great, I wish they could keep the water warm, but it's a wonderful sized pool. Their swimming lessons are hit or miss. I wish they had better soccer program. They don't play games, they only have soccer lessons. I also wish they had more parking, and better lit parking lot.

I've been going here for 30 or more years and they've always kept it clean and they've added a lot over the years including climbing wall, a second gym, and a whole separate building with another gym. My son had his Birthday party at the west building this summer and rented out the gym, it was a fun, accommodating, great priced experience.
★★★★★R. C.I have never been to this center before it's well-thought-out design enables you to have large gatherings in a comfortable setting. We had a reception for family death. The facility was up to the task of caring for 200 or so person's. Not sure it's they forced you to use their catering service, but service was good and the food was will prepared. Will lose for future gathering needs.

My personal experience at this facility is the same as when using their main/primary facility. Great programs, great place! Wide variety of activities - indoor and outdoor, multiple facilities (clean & modern/updated), offer a wide variety of programs for all age groups, facilities and many programs available all year (every season is covered). WiFi, clean, ample parking, easy access in person and online, knowledgeable and friendly staff, plus affordable - even for non-residents. Fun for all ages!
