Powered by GoogleFriendly staff and super clean! Highly recommend the walking path outside. I went for a work meeting and grabbed some awesome books along the trail from the Little Library. So precious!
Not sure why I expected more than the 5 alarm dumpster fire presentation from the YMCA Preschool program tonight after the year we endured. It was total chaos but there were 2 teachers onstage that actually gave the appearance that they cared about being there. They took the time to hug every child and take pictures with them and for that we are very greatful. The others, not so much, one lady with pink hair actually said over the loud speaker, "you don't have to talk to me, just come and get it" as she called the kids up to get their papers. I can't tell you how many people I heard saying, "what did she just say"? That was very distasteful, rude, and robbed parents of what was supposed to be a lifetime memory for them. If that lady is the best you have to offer, just stop now. All year long this program was a disaster, there was no curriculum or lesson plan to prepare the kids for their next experience. The director, Holly claimed they were more focused on the playing and the social aspect. This is nothing more than a glorified and over priced daycare at this point. My kid went backwards attending this place in terms of education and discipline. At one point they actually sent a weekly report on how the kids were doing overall. Which was nice because it's not the teachers job to raise my child and discipline her for not following directions at school. We were able to talk to her and work with her at home on the deficiencies. But for some unknown reason that was stopped and we were told they could no longer send them out, the YMCA doesn't allow that. Attempting to get a tax form from the director Holly was like trying to wrestle a bone from a pitbull. Multiple attempts before we received it 2 weeks before taxes were due. If you are considering this place for your child's Preschool, VPK, or whatever you want to call it, think carefully on how you want your child prepared. God bless those kindergarten teachers next year, this place screwed you.
Such a scam. Paid $200 in total when trying to cancel my membership. Theres so many fees and each one is over $60.
My young children always do their sports programs i.e. basketball and soccer through the YMCA. Great staff, always friendly and facilities are well kept.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The children's soccer program is far superior to other YMCA soccer programs our kids have participated in. It was very organized and the coaches were fantastic! We enjoy the workout facilities there as well. Always clean and never crowded.
